PLANTAIN JERKY – Vegan Plantain Bacon

Follow this Recipe to make delicious PLANTAIN JERKEY CHIPS. These dehydrated plantain jerky chips are a tasty and healthy snack. Perfect to be eaten on its own or with guacamole or other dips. Also a great companion for dishes like ceviche or as a beautiful and tasty garnish.

Ingedients:
2-3 plantains (choose plantains that have started to yellow and ripen)
1/3 cup of low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of red chili flakes
fresh ground black pepper (about 1/2 teaspoon)
a few drops (1/4 teaspoon) of liquid smoke
