1.2 cup Urad dal
1/4 cup Roasted Channa dal(pottu kadalai)
3 cup Rice flour (idiyappam maavu)
1 tbsp Sesame seeds
1/2 tsp Asafoetida
2.25 tsp Salt or as required
2 tbsp hot oil or butter
required boiling water
