1930 Eclipse Rum Cocktail – Cocktails After Dark – Glen & Friends Cooking

1930 Eclipse Rum Cocktail – Cocktails After Dark – Glen And Friends Cooking
This rum cocktail recipe is from the 1930 cocktail book by Nina Toye and A.H. Adair, this book was originally published in 1925. While this is during the prohibition era, it was published in England which didn’t suffer through prohibition. The cocktail recipe itself is meant to be made up in bulk and portioned out during the party, so I took the basic proportions and used that to make individual cocktails.

Eclipse Rum Cocktail Recipe:
Four glasses of rum, one glass of Chartreuse and one of sweetened lemon juice.
Serve with a cherry.
